What is the difference between Pilates and Gyrotonic training?

Pilates focuses on core strength, flexibility, and body alignment through controlled movements, while Gyrotonic training incorporates circular and spiraling movements that promote strength, flexibility, and coordination in a more dynamic way.

What are the benefits of Pilates and Gyrotonic training?

Both practices improve core strength, flexibility, posture, and overall body awareness, enhancing physical performance and reducing the risk of injury.

What should I wear to class?

We recommend wearing comfortable, form-fitting athletic wear that allows for a full range of motion. Grip socks are also encouraged for Pilates classes.

How often should I attend classes?

For optimal results, we recommend attending classes at least 2-3 times per week, but feel free to adjust based on your personal schedule and goals.

Are there age restrictions for classes?

We welcome participants of all ages. However, minors may require parental consent and should attend classes designed for their age group.

Do I need prior experience to join a class?

No prior experience is required! Our classes are designed for all levels, from beginners to advanced practitioners. Our instructors will provide modifications to suit your individual needs.

Is there a trial class available?

Yes! We offer a trial class for new clients to experience our studio and classes before committing to a membership.

What is the cancellation policy for classes?

To be fair to other clients waiting for available slots, a minimum of 24 hours cancellation notice is required for Group classes / Private / Semi-Private classes. The cancellation can be made via Whatsapp +852 98796361 or email. If a client fails to attend the class within 5 minutes after it starts, you will be denied access into the class as safety concern is our number one priority in the studio and your class credit will be deducted. If you do not inform us within the specified time frame using the methods outlined above, you will be charged the full fee for the class. However, this charge may be waived if you provide a doctor's note for sick leave to any ALYRO staff member within 2 working days of your absence.

What is the purchase policy for classes?

Upon successful purchase, please ensure completion of the classes within the validity period. Any remaining classes will be forfeited after the expiration date. We will not provide reminder of the expiration date. All requests for extension of the package require a medical certificate (clearly displaying your name, date, diagnosis and doctor signature) or proof of departure, and return dates).
